Welcome to the Hanham Family website.
Our annual Cornerstone Sunday School Christmas party was held at the home of Scott and Melinda Kuegel. As always, there was too much good food to eat!
For Christmas, we traveled west to see the grandchildren. While passing through Joplin, MO, we stopped at the Precious Moments museum. It is always well worth the time to visit.
As we passed through Tulsa, OK, we spent time visiting with Richard's friends whom he has known from his many years in that area.
First we met with Terry Boyne at a Vietnamese Restaurant, and the next day we met with Mike and Cindy Perryman in Sand Springs.
We spent the night with our good friends, Butch and Marlene Braught. They had recently spent a week without electricity as the ice storms passed through Oklahoma and took down trees and power lines.
The weekend before Christmas was spent in Ft. Smith, AR, with son Pete and his two sons, Marshall and Mason.
Then Pete and his boys headed on to California for Christmas. This was the grandsons' first travel by airplane. The Pacific coastline looked cold.
Lastly, we headed to Oklahoma City to spend Christmas with daughter Renee, Michael, and their new son Ian. Renee and Michael were so blessed in 2007 with a new home and the birth of their first child!
Ian was less than three weeks old. He is still too young to be excited about Christmas, but precious enough to excite his grandparents.
Even Renee's dog, Beau, was into the Christmas spirit.
12/05/07 (Richard) Praise God! Suzanna underwent a laparoscopic procedure at the Owensboro Hospital to remove some suspicious spots in her abdomen. After the surgery, the lab work determined that the cysts were benign, so she did not have to undergo additional surgery. Suzanna is now home and recuperating nicely with only three small incisions to heal up.
12/04/07 (Richard) We are delighted to announce the birth of our third grandchild, Ian Michael Estes to our daughter Renee and her husband Michael at 5:22pm at Norman Regional Hospital in Oklahoma City. This is Renee’s first child and what a way to celebrate the birth of Jesus during the Christmas season, by bringing a precious baby into the world! Ian weighed 8lb 4 oz and was 21” long. Baby and parents are doing well and plan to go home on Friday.
