Welcome to the Hanham Family website.
11/24/11 (Suzanna and Richard)
HAPPY THANKSGIVING from Bangkok!

We are praying for family and friends around the world as you gather to celebrate Thanksgiving – a time to praise our Lord for all His bountiful blessings.
I Thessalonians 5:16-18 "Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus."
Yes, we had turkey and stuffing as part of this wonderful Thanksgiving luncheon buffet! There wasn’t any pumpkin pie, but there was pumpkin soup.

It has been an unexpected blessing to enjoy such a variety of food here in Bangkok.

It was a joy to fellowship with friends from America and Australia as we enjoyed this bountiful meal.

We have had a busy week of medical appointments. We are so impressed with the medical care facilities in Thailand.
We have opted for brachytherapy (radioactive seed implant) to treat Richard’s prostate cancer. Because it will be 2-4 weeks before the procedure can be done, we are planning to return to South Asia and await notification from the doctor telling us when to return to Bangkok.
Tomorrow we will find out the results of the CT scan of Suzanna’s heart. We are trusting that she will receive a good report. Please continue to remember us in your prayers.

There’s a wonderful rapid transit system here!

We’ve had a comfortable place to work and rest.

Although the flooding did not reach this particular part of Bangkok, we see evidence everywhere of preparedness (sand bags, concrete flood walls) and of flood relief for those so devastated by the floods. Please pray for the victims and for the relief workers.
