This is a typical business street in old Jerusalem. The streets are very narrow, the shops are quite small and normally the streets are crowded with people.

There are many meat markets in old Jerusalem. Every part of the sheep and goats are sold, including heads, and all is hung up on display in easy view on the side of the street.
