Here in South Asia, with monsoons winding down, temperatures are rising – unlike the cool fall temps in America. We’ve had two reasons to celebrate recently.
In August, we celebrated Suzanna’s birthday a few days early with a day trip to Taj Mahal! This fulfilled a lifelong dream of hers. We concluded that one must see the Taj Mahal to appreciate its beauty.
Before leaving the area, we also visited Red Fort. What a memorable day we enjoyed!
We saw several monkeys and a few camels. At one roadside restaurant and gift shop, we could have had our picture taken with a cobra; but Suzanna would not even look toward it as we drove past!
While visiting Delhi, we enjoyed worshipping and fellowshipping at an international church.
September 13th, we celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary! We enjoyed a meal at a local restaurant and feasted on grilled red snapper and chicken – both rather spicy but delicious. We love naan – an Indian bread that tastes a bit like pizza crust.
Last week we enjoyed a wonderful meal in the home of these new friends.
